During the newborn phase of our oldest sons life, we chose to cloth diaper. My husband and I both liked the ease and sustainability cloth diapers had, and it honestly blew us away with how much money we were saving. When Noble our son got a bit older we purchased our first set of Alva Baby cloth diapers the pocket style, off of Amazon. Amazingly, we both fell in love with the quick and easy process of the Alva Baby pocket diaper and the affordability and quality of the brand. Which is the reason we chose to cloth diaper with Alva Baby with our second baby too, and still continue to purchase more from them.

There are so many different styles and brands of cloth diapers on the market. It can be very overwhelming to choose the right fit for you and your baby. I remember feeling extremely overwhelmed when I had to make the decision, and I did so much research on affordability and quality.
After trying to find a good style of diaper, I finally settled on the pocket Alva Baby cloth diapers. Knowing, that it would probably be the best and easiest way to get my husband on board with cloth diapering, and it worked!
Affordability & Quality
In addition, there are several amazing brands of cloth diapers on the market with great quality and can be quite the pretty penny. For awhile I thought I had to pay to get the quality I wanted. That wasn’t the case with Alva Baby, theirs were roughly $6.00 a diaper or 6 diapers for $35.00, which to me seems like a great deal.
The quality was also a huge factor for us. Since we knew we wanted a lot of babies and are continuing to grow our family, having a diaper brand that would last, definitely was a must! Alva Baby cloth diapers have lasted us with both our babies, and they for sure have a lot of life left in them.
The Reason We Love Pocket Diapers
One of the main reasons I decided to go with the pocket style for cloth diapers, was that I wanted to keep it simple for my husband. I had heard from several cloth diapering mamas, who said that “pocket diapers were the way to go.” Fascinatingly enough, they were right! My husband quickly got on board with cloth diapering and said “these are way easier than I thought they would be” and that is a very true statement. We also love how easy it is to change diapers. With the pocket diaper system of stuffing them with microfiber inserts, its more of a “one and done” situation of changing the diaper. There isn’t any folding of prefolds or using multiple pieces of material to create a thickness to prevent leaking. Alva Baby cloth diapers ar the perfect diaper for affordability and quality and that is why we love them!
