I’ve tried many recipes for homemade granola bars, and this recipe (that I have tweaked several times) is finally one I’m ready to share with you all! With tons of healthy fats and protein, these easy delicious chocolate chip granola bar recipe will satisfy your hunger as well as your sweet tooth.
As a mama to two toddlers, I’m always feeding someone a snack or grabbing snacks for on the go.
Recently, after reaching a breaking point, I decided I no longer wanted to throw money out the window on pre-packaged snacks loaded with sugar and preservatives.
And I certainly don’t want my little ones bouncing off the walls from all that sugar and un-healthy crap going into their bodies (I’m not against junk food – everything in moderation).
Which is why I’ve come to the point of homemaking healthy, easy, delicious snacks that my family will love and enjoy.
Furthermore, I’m excited to share with you all my favorites recipe for easy delicious chocolate chip granols bars!
What You Will Need to Make Easy Delicious Chocolate Chip Granola Bars
- 6 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups all-natural peanut butter
- 2/3 cup Maple Syrup (can substitute for honey)
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 4 organic eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. pink himalayan salt
- butter or oil to grease pan
- stand mixer or hand mixer
- 9×13 pan
- measuring cups and spoons
- spatula
How to Make Chocolate Chip Granola Bars
Begin, by preheating your oven to 350º F.
Start off by adding all your ingredients to the bowl of your mixer. Mix until all ingredients are all combined.
Next, grease a 9×13 pan with butter or oil, and scoop all of your granola bar mixture into pan, using a spatula press evenly into pan and firmly pack the mixture down.
Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes or until mixture no longer looks wet/dense in the middle.
Once the granola bars have baked thoroughly, let them cool for about 15 minutes, and then slice them into bars.
