A Summertime Family Tradition
The older I get, the more I want to create a life with beautiful and delicious things. Surprisingly, that is actually how I’ve always been, even since I was little. With each new season, I come up with things I love, creating family traditions, incorporating fun/romantic ways to make our life beautiful, charming, memorable, and fun. One of the ways I have created a tradition for our summers, is having delicious recipes for drinks, desserts, etc… and remaking them each year. Furthermore, I’m super excited to share with you how to make the best ever lemonade from scratch.
This recipe I have made every summer for the past three years! It is that delicious and I’m so glad I get to give it a special spot on my blog.

How to Make the Best Ever Lemonade from Scratch
Start off by adding 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to a sauce pan, and bring it to a boil. Allow the sugar to dissolve then remove from heat.
Next, cut all the lemons in half and squeeze the juice into a glass measuring cup. I personally used a mesh strainer over this to filter out the seeds and pulp.
Last, combine sugar mixture (simple syrup), lemon juice, and water into your pitcher. Stir well. Add as much ice as necessary, if serving immediately.
Store in refrigerator covered.
Enjoy!
