Begin by washing and drying your fabric. Once your fabric is dry you'll need to press it with a hot iron until all the wrinkles are out.
Decide how big of a tea towel you would like. I found one of my favorite dish towels, using that as a pattern for my tea towel, and then added an extra inch for seam allowance. My measurements are 36in x 20in. Cut out your desired size tea towel or use the measurements I provided, measuring and cutting with those dimensions.
Take your cut out piece of fabric over to your ironing station and begin pressing under a 1/2 inch, then folding that over and pressing under another 1/2 inch. Pin your seam allowance in place.
Once you've pressed under your seams, you'll make the Mitered Corner on all four corners.
Lastly, begin sewing your seams. I used the edge of my presser foot as my guide for sewing. Enjoy!
